On 20 June 2019, I attended the Logeion CDay near Utrecht, the Netherlands. The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where I work part time, was one of the sponsors of this event for around 800 communication professionals from around the Netherlands.
My “fasterclass” session was on intercultural communication – Communicating with non-native Dutch speakers in the Netherlands and beyond.

Attendees to my session were from various international organisations throughout the Netherlands including city councils and educational institutions.

For the remainder of the day, I was on the stand with colleagues sharing information about our Masters programmes:

Great to chat to other attendees and stand holders, including Kirsten Wagenaar from Bind, I met her last year at OMHE and have been following her and her team on LinkedIn. They specialise in community building, a topic very much aligned with my own work and values.
