On Wednesday 22 May, I gave an evening workshop to Masters students of the MBA, MICM and MFMC programmes at The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
This workshop will offer some insights on how to best present yourself. Not only during a face-to-face presentation or interview but also online. One of the ways to professionally present yourself online is via Linkedin. This training will focus on both the on- and offline way of presenting yourself.
I have already taught full day workshops to students in two of these programmes for the last two years – the English language programmes of – MICM (Masters of International Communication Management) and MFMC (Masters of Financial Management and Control) in networking, presentation skills, negotiation and storytelling (along with Manuela Damant and Natali Drake). This was an additional workshop to top up skills and also to focus on using LinkedIn more effectively.

It was a delight to talk with students from all around the world, and share tips and ideas on things to consider when presenting online and offline. A few of the topics touched on:
- Personal branding
- Public speaking
- Impact of culture
- What’s your “Why”?
I left them with this thought:

After the workshop, they shared their LinkedIn profiles with me and I gave them each some direct feedback.
Looking forward to continuing to connect with Masters students at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and beyond, online and offline!
Renee 🙂
