THE GREATEST THING by boat… ( 22 – 24 June)
Floating on a boat through the canals of The Hague onto The Greatest Thing in the open-air Zuiderparktheater and the Hofje van Wouw
In a new collaboration with the Willemsvaart, the open-air Zuiderparktheater and the Hofje van Wouw STET The English Theatre presents an evening programme on location to be reached by boat through the canals of The Hague.
The Greatest Thing is a visual performance with an exclusive soundtrack, starring singer-songwriter Miss Walker and mime artist Silent Rocco from Berlin. For 45 minutes, the scene turns into a gateway to another world. A quiet vagabond walks into a seemingly lifeless neon fairy. The content of her golden leather pouch becomes the key to their common story and unleashes a tender musical fairytale, rife with enchanting live songs, interactive moments and captivating choreographies.
2017 Night At The Park ( 24 June)
Besides the artists on the main stage, there’s much more to enjoy during the festival. How about the Special Request stage, where the Coronas play your favorite request songs directly on demand. You name it, and they will play it! Have look at the festival market where you can score the latest gadgets, t-shirts, music, sweaters, jewelry and much more.

Festival Classique 2017 (until 25 June)
Festival Classique 2017 has planted its feet in the sand. From the 15 – 25 June, Scheveningen turns into one big classical music playground. With concerts in a number of special locations such as the Kurhaus, Holland Casino Scheveningen, Beelden aan Zee, Paviljoen de Witte en Kantine Visafslag.
This year for the first time a free concert at the Kurhaus will open the Festival Classique 2017 on Thursday 15 June.
The festival attracted over 42,000 visitors in 2016. With its programming, they reach all age ranges, from young to old. The programming consists of a wide range of free and paid-to-visit shows, concerts and activities. In the open air and at special locations, they surprise the audience and challenge them to experience music in a different way. The festival offers a stage for professional musicians, music students and amateurs from the region of The Hague.
Veterans Day (24 June)
On Saturday, 24 June thousands of veterans from all over the country will descend upon The Hague to take part in the 13th annual Dutch Veterans Day. Although Dutch Veterans Day focuses on acknowledging and showing appreciation for the country’s 115,000 veterans, the event also features many activities that are fun and exciting for everyone.
There will be festivities at Malieveld, a huge parade and a fly past of many different kinds of jets, airplanes and helicopters over the Hofvijver.
