2025 Embracing Diversities Workshop @ Toastmasters of The Hague

On Thursday 20 February, I gave a workshop at Toastmasters of The Hague.

Here’s the event text….

Join us for an interactive, inspiring workshop that will help you navigate the dynamic world of inclusive communication and intercultural understanding. Whether you’re a seasoned speaker, a curious professional, or simply passionate about human connection, this session is designed to elevate your ability to truly “read the room” while strengthening your self-awareness.

What to Expect:

  • Interactive Exercises: Dive into hands-on activities focused on identity, inclusion, personal branding, and networking strategies. Gain the tools to recognize and celebrate diversity in all its forms.
  • Inclusive Public Speaking Tips: Discover practical ways to tailor your message so it resonates with diverse audiences. Learn to adapt your style and presence to create meaningful impact.
  • Intercultural Communication: Explore how cultural perspectives shape communication. Develop greater empathy and understanding when engaging with global audiences—both professionally and personally.
  • Confidence Building: Leave with simple yet effective techniques to increase your confidence and presence as a speaker, leader, and connector in any setting.

Why Attend?
In today’s interconnected world, being able to communicate inclusively isn’t just a “nice to have”—it’s essential. By understanding both your audience and yourself on a deeper level, you’ll unlock new ways to connect with people, foster meaningful relationships, and create an environment where everyone feels seen and heard.
