Most people have heard of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Last week (5 June 2025) I learned about the IDGs (Inner Development Goals). Have you heard of these? I highly recommend looking into them! This session was offered by the ESC IDG Hub:
The ESC IDG Hub is a collaborative initiative designed to enrich systemic co-design practices in higher education, with the transformative potential of the Inner Development Goals (IDGs).
I was invited by a colleague, Heleen Geerts – I greatly admire the energy and impact she brings to The Hague University of Applied Sciences so accepted, despite not knowing much about the topic. I’m so glad I went! It was an incredibly impactful session.
It was a small group, but this worked well. We really got a chance to all participate and get to know each other.
