On Thursday 12 October 2023, it was great to have the opportunity to give a guest lecture at the Global School for Entrepreneurship in Amsterdam.
I learned about this University of Applied Sciences when I attended a press event earlier in the year for the opening of the Titaan building in The Hague.
Their Amsterdam location has been open now for several years, and I enjoyed meeting this year 4 class, who are both completing their Bachelor’s while also building their business.
The topic I taught was Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, as part of the “Hiring and Firing” module.
It was a hybrid class, with students both in person and online. During this 3 hour class/workshop, we had some very interesting discussions around the legal and ethical aspects of DEI.
