
The annual Museum Night (Museumnacht Den Haag) offered a diverse programme of evening fun around our city, showcasing the many cultural institutions here in The Hague.
With around 9,500 visitors to the event, the 2017 theme was “Freak Like Me”.
A grand opening was held from 7.30pm at the Tweede Kamer with Babs Woord Salon:

From 8pm-1am, there was a choice of 31 cultural institutions to visit, all with a special programme. The Mauritshuis had several different activities including a cocktail bar and “Escape the Box Mauritshuis edition”. The Girl with a Pearl was there, delighting visitors as always.

At the Haags Historisch Museum, a band blended African beats, overlooked by Dutch historical paintings.

At Escher in het Paleis, a mobile DJ welcomed visitors, and psychedelic creations glowed on the walls.

One of the highlights was a roller disco at the Atrium in city hall.

An afterparty at the Paard kicked off at 10pm with a number of bands including Alcuna Wilds.
