On Friday 14, Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 July, the Musicon and Grote Markt present the 8th edition of the “Summertime Festival” an internationally orientated music festival in the Grotemarkt, the musical heart of The Hague. Every year the festival is a success, due to its formula of a laid back vibe combined with new musical discoveries from all corners of the world.
Summertime Festival is free of charge and takes place on a vintage merry-go-round stage at the Grotemarkt square. One of the perks: all music can be enjoyed from the terrace, but of course you can always get up and dance. Th line up ranges from free jazz, fado & cumbia to classical music, dreamy indiepop, funk as well as cross-overs styles.
The Hague Food Festival (15 July)

Over the 9 days, you can enjoy events across the city including collaborative dinners, food and wine trails as well as guest international chefs.
The festival concludes with huge free entry weekend food festival in Huijgenspark that will be packed with tasty fun for all ages to enjoy with live food shows, children’s food festival and lots more!
Delft Ceramica 2017 – International Ceramic Market (15 -16 July)

On Saturday, July 15 and on Sunday, July 16 2017 the 13th edition of the International Ceramics festival ‘Delft Ceramica’ will take place in the lovely historical Centre of Delft.
All participants in Delft Ceramica have to meet certain criteria, i.e. professionalism, quality, originality, innovation.
70 artists from different countries – Belgium, France, Germany, Great-Britain, Italy, Netherlands and Spain will showcase their works, answer questions about their techniques and sell their creations. Visitors can expect a wide variety of works such as organically produced ceramics, raku, statues, vases, bowls and cups.
Back to the park with The Hague African Festival (16 July)

The Hague Summer and The Hague African Festival (THAF) belong together. For the ninth consecutive year, enthusiasts of African and related sounds can enjoy the festival. This year the festival will take place on July 16th and return back to its roots, Zuiderpark.
THAF moves from the Spuiplein to the place where it all began nine years ago. The atmospheric Zuiderpark Theater is the location for the festival this year. The beautiful, green forest and watery surroundings of the Zuiderpark serve as a natural picture frame for an ideal experience for young and old.
As in the past, this year The Hague African Festival will feature a special program with old, known and exciting new bands from all over the world such as:
