Rrrollend Den Haag – Outdoor food festival   (2-5 June)

The Hague’s Lange Voorhout will be transformed into an open-air restaurant during Rrrollend Den Haag from 2 to 5 June.

Dozens of mobile kitchens will roll up to the most beautiful tree-lined avenue in The Hague’s city centre. For 4 days you can enjoy trying exotic wraps, unusual grilled sandwiches, exclusive burgers and Dutch delicacies.

The Netherlands will host  a world cup skateboarding event again during Pro Freestyle The Hague 2017.

On Friday 2 and Saturday  3 June  skaters from all over the world will  compete on this double point event. This world cup event is the weekend after the Far ‘n High World Cup Skateboarding in Paris.

The Dutch organizers, Pro Freestyle, will bring the official world cup to the biggest beach they have: The Hague.  The world cup will take place in the The Hague Beach Stadium. This beach stadium is located on the beach and  has a capacity of 2.000 seats for the best view in town.


Skinny Puppy @ Paard  ( 3 June)

Dark, complex, but ever so unforgettable: the Electro-Industrial band Skinny Puppy became one of the leading groups in the Electro-Industrial music scene and will prove its status this Saturday  at Paard. Even groups such as Nine Inch Nails took their inspiration from this groundbreaking band. After 30 years of existence and more than 20 albums, the Canadian band Skinny Puppy is still alive and kicking.

With their controversial, but most of all energetic performances, Skinny Puppy leaves the venues they play at bleeding, sweating and completely demolished. The Hague gig  is  part of their new 2017  tour  called ‘Down The Sociopath’


TONG TONG FAIR (until 5 June)

The Tong Tong Fair (TTF) is the world’s largest Eurasian fair, visited annually by more than 100,000 visitors. This 12-day event is held in a sea of tents spread across The Hague’s Malieveld. History and book discussions, theatrical performances, dance, music, Indonesian martial arts, culinary workshops, puppet plays and delicious food are what Tong Tong is famous for.

This year, TTF is all about jazz, from vintage swing to contemporary world jazz. One of Indonesia’s biggest stars, Indra Lesmana, will perform with his KeyTar Trio. Also, guitar player, Balawan from Bali, will perform his fusion of gamelan and modern jazz, and the big jazz band, HajarBleh from Jakarta, will shake the stage.
