Construction to begin on 23 story student accommodation in The Hague

A new residential tower for students is due to begin construction this month next to The Hague University of Applied Sciences.

The Leemanstoren project, named for the area it is being built (Leemansplein, The Hague), will be 23 stories high and will provide 451 student apartments.

It is the first stage of the longer term “Vijverhof” plan to provide more student accommodation in the area.  The Hague University of Applied Sciences has around 26,000 students from more than 140 different countries and offers a number of Bachelor and Masters programmes in English.
