Freelance lecturer for the course: Aligning Business & Information.

Lecturer/coach for four teams, on site at The Hague campus two days a week for one block.

Taught from materials provided under the excellent guidance of Navneet Rathee.

Covered topics such as:

  • Technology Trends: opportunities & threats in technology for the hospitality industry
  • Strategy & Management: Strengths & weaknesses, capabilities for the current team & strategy identification
  • Information & Communication: data flow and quality dimensions
  • IT Components: Gap analysis, eco system and IT infrastructure
  • Solutions & Alignment: Closing the gaps, ranking solutions, risk analysis and implementation. Strategy alignment and value adding processes
  • Managing change

Weekly lectures for 7 weeks and a weekly team meeting working on a case study.

Students submitted a group assignment and sat a multiple choice exam.

Textbook was Management Information Systems: Managing the digital firm
