The Home Made EASTER Market is back on the Lange Voorhout in The Hague! (Saturday 15 – Monday 17 April)

The first Home Made Market of the year will coincide with Easter. Great opportunity to enjoy this special three day event taking place on Easter Saturday April 15th, Sunday April 16th and Easter Monday April 17th. The market will run on all three days from 11 am until 5 pm and will take place on the beautiful Lange Voorhout in The Hague.
The Hague is a hub for creativity and entrepreneurship and Home Made Market is there to prove it. What started as a yearly organic market in the Zeeheldenkwartier has through the initiative of the local community and businesses grown into a life-style event for the whole of The Hague to enjoy. The theme of the market is that everything on offer is truly unique, bespoke, or handmade.
Visitors can expect a wide variety of consumer goods ranging from food, fashion, art, interior design, jewelry and accessories and vintage products. There’s also entertainment in the form of workshops, live music and theatre. For the little ones, there is a range of fun activities planned including games, baking “poffertjes”, arts & crafts and a merry-go-round
The Veils @ Paard (Monday 17 April)
The British indie group, that became a hit with their ‘spooky Americana’ in 2003, surprised its fans this year by releasing their best album so far.
The creative mastermind behind this band? It’s singer and songwriter Finn Andrews. With his expressive appearance and his melancholic, dark and honest songs he could be described as ‘an artist with the likes of Nick Cave and David Bowie’, according to Rough Trade Records.
After its release on the 26th of August, The Veils’ fifth studio album ‘Total Depravity’ received nothing but praise. PodiumInfo rewarded the record with five stars and called it ‘mature, bold and experimental’. The happy guitar songs and tender piano tunes have been swapped for a deep bass, synths and prominent string orchestras. Here to stay is the the eccentric voice of Finn Andrews, saturated with emotion and many beautifully crafted songs with sharp lyrics that reassure a sensational live show.
The Simon and Garfunkel Story (Monday 17 April)

Now seen by over a 1/4 million people across the world, ‘The Simon and Garfunkel Story’ is a critically acclaimed concert style theatre show about two young boys from Queens, New York who went on to become the world’s most successful music duo of all time.
Using state of the art video projection, incredible lighting and a full live band ‘The Simon & Garfunkel Story’ is a moving and powerful concert featuring all the hits such as ‘Mrs Robinson’, ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’, ‘Homeward Bound’, ‘Scarborough Fair’, ‘The Boxer’, ‘The Sound Of Silence’ and many more, this is a show not to be missed!
