Between 2006 and 2016 STET (The English Theatre – has shown nearly 100 plays, created the The Hague Shakespeare Festival, hosted performers from all around the world and offered at least three English-language family shows in The Hague each year. The Education department works with schools from all over The Netherlands.
Join the STET’s Birthday crowdfuning campaign to secure their work in the future. As from 2017 20 % of STET’s budget is secured from the Gemeente The Hague however the remaining 80% has to be found through other sources.
Saturday 26 November STET will celebrate their 10th birthday with a party in the Paradijs foyer, including a reception, a book presentation of the English version of Monologues NOT by Shakespeare to a mystery guest and the very very last performance in English of Lady M! by Annemarie de Bruijn (Het Vijfde Bedrijf). This Edinburgh Festival hit has its roots in the Hague and was a total succes with our audience.
