Cool Event Scheveningen (13 November – 15 January)

This winter Scheveningen is again the place to be for the ultimate winter sport experience. From 13 November 2016 to 15 January 2017, The Hague’s beach resort will be transformed into a true winter wonderland called ‘Cool Event’. Ice skate on a beautiful ice rink of 600 m2 located next to the Kurhaus Hotel. Enjoy a drink on a heated winter terrace – glühwein and hot chocolate are firm favourites for this time of year!
What the Fork Food Festival (25-28 November)

More than 15 foodtrucks will be parked on The Pier at Scheveningen. From meat to vegetarian, there is something special for everyone. Live music and DJ, craft market and pop up shops will also add to the atmosphere, and you can also take a ride on the giant seaside ferris wheel.
St Andrews Charity Ball (26 November)

The St. Andrew’s Society of NL was formed in 1985. Its aims are to promote Scottish culture and, by doing so, raise funds for charities in Scotland and The Netherlands. The principal occasion, St. Andrew’s Day [30th Nov] is celebrated in traditional formal style with St. Andrew’s Ball. The dances we do may not be familiar to you, but don’t worry – they have a “caller” – that’s what the Scots call the dance teacher who walks, and talks, you through each dance before you do it.
Korzo: Young Talent Performance (Koninklijk Conservatorium, NDT) (23-26 November)

The Young Talent Performance forms an inspiring program where young dance students of the Royal Conservatory are offered the chance to come in contact with NDT’s approach. Under the supervision of the instructors and dancers, the students work on repertory and new work with a relationship to the company. The result is an all-round program, danced by students of the final year of secondary school and the professional dance course. These young dancers present NDT repertory, but also solos made under supervision of the choreographers.
Queen Tribute by Vipers (Friday 25 November)

With well over 1000 live gigs in the bag already the Italian Queen tribute band Vipers is conquering Europe rapidly. Singer Giuseppe Maggioni made his fame in 2014 through the television broadcast of The Voice of Italy. His voice is frightfully close to that of Freddie Mercury’s.
‘Huge Queen’s fans’ that’s the way Giuseppe Maggioni (vocals), Giordano Bruno (guitar), Michele Carminati (bass guitar) and Roberto Previtali (drums), members of Vipers, describe themselves. They know how to imitate in detail the legendary tracks by this British band. Of course, by emphasizing on the musical power of the most famous band in the world, but also by using the distinctive clothing and hairstyle for which Freddie Mercury and his musical company were known for.
