Week 02: Facebook
Love it or hate it, you can’t avoid it anymore. Even my young children use “Facebook” as part of their regular vocabulary! Keep your eye out this week and share some of the places you spot the Facebook logo.

Do you have a Facebook business page?
Several of you have shared over in the private group already, and I will set up a document there to gather them all in one place. This week, please add your page to the document, and visit a few of the other pages and like any that are of interest.
Several of you wanted to set up a Facebook business page as part of this course. I’d like to ask one of you to volunteer for me to set it up for you and share it via a video or blog post as a “how to”. Great opportunity to get more “likers”! Please email me at renee@zestee.com and later in the week, I’ll share this with the rest of you who need help to set one up.
Privacy and Security Settings on Facebook
You can access these in the top right hand corner when you log into Facebook.
You’ll see your name, and a small wheel for settings. Click on account settings and privacy settings and go through these to ensure they are at a standard you’re comfortable with.
Did you know you can download a copy of your Facebook data? Personally I like to keep a copy of this in my Dropbox folder just as a back up.
The Help section is also a good one to familiarise yourself with.
Thanks to those who participated last week in the online chat on Facebook. It’s been good to have your feedback on this and one of the main goals was to try out different tools and features to see which works for you. This week, we won’t hold an online chat at a specific time, but please continue to visit the Zestee Social Media School Facebook group and read/contribute to the conversations on the wall.
