Over seventy organisations and companies submitted ideas to tackle current global challenges in The Hague Innovators Challenge, with nine finalists pitching on stage last week at the New Business Summit, hosted by the New World Campas.
An initiative of the City of The Hague which aimed to encourage start-ups, organizations and students to present new ideas on current global challenges, the nine finalists are listed below, along with the total votes in the public challenge:

The jury awarded the €30,000 first prize to Hack the Planet, who developed the GroundHawq ground drone. Learn more about this innovative concept here.
Startup Budgently won the second prize of € 20,000. They developed a mobile app to help you spend money wisely. Read more here
