This is a fantastic program just launched to help small business improve their social media skills to be able to participate more fully in online business opportunities. It’s funded by Skills Queensland, presented by BroadbandToday.com.au (an amalgamation of 120 councils in Australia & NZ) and is delivered by The Creative Collective.

If you’re anywhere in Qld, consider taking part in this great initiative! It’s just $250 for the 12 week course. As a disclaimer, I do not receive payment to promote this but have always admired the work of Creative Collective (and director, Yvette Adams) and am happy to share social media learning opportunities I think are worthwhile.
The first face to face Get UP To Speed event is next Tuesday 27th at Maroochydore. I hope to be there myself, though with 2 young children and another appointment this day, I’m not sure if I will be able to make it…but would highly recommend anyone on the Sunshine Coast book their (free) ticket.

I am signed up as a (volunteer) mentor and am still getting to know exactly what it offers. From what I understand, it will be more in depth than this 12 week free online course I’m offering here on the Zestee website and mixes an initial face to face session with online training.
It’s also subsidised/funded meaning a great deal for you…there is even a $175 rebate available towards an iPad, laptop or other suitable device for those eligible!
